CARF accreditation CARF International is an independent, nonprofit organization that surveys and accredits health and human services providers worldwide.
A service or program that is CARF accredited has passed an in-depth on-site review and has demonstrated substantial conformance to internationally recognized standards for quality.
Elevate has received two 3 year CARF accreditations since March 2021 in the following programs:
- Intensive Outpatient Program
- Outpatient Psychotherapy

System navigator: We have an amazing system navigator who is a designated individual that can be accessed by calling Your Life Iowa and asking for a System Navigator, or can be utilized by coming into our office. The System Navigator assists with community members accessing resources that are needed.

What services does Elevate provide?
Mobile Crisis response, Crisis Care Intervention, Medication Management, Substance Use Disorder Treatment (Strive Recovery), a Drop-In Center for peer support, PPSS (support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities), Intensive Residential Support Homes (IRSH), and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
How do I access Mobile Crisis support?
Call or text 988 or contact Your Life Iowa and ask for a mobile crisis team to be sent to you. You can also call (855) 581-8111 or text (855) 895-8398.
Do I need insurance to receive services?
Give us a call to speak with our staff who can guide you with all the up-to-date information.
Which counties do you serve?
Black Hawk, Butler, Grundy, Tama, Mitchell, Floyd, Winneshiek, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Howard, Fayette, Clayton, Keokuk, Washington, Louisa, Des Moines, Lee, Henry, Jefferson, and Van Buren counties. ACT services are specifically available in the Southeast Iowa/Burlington area and Black Hawk County.
